These terms cover your use of Vyne (the "App"), a personal life-organization app. Vyne is developed and operated by an independent developer, not a company. By using the App, you agree to these terms.
Vyne lets you organize your life into branching categories, habits, and due dates, stored on your device. An optional Cloud Backup feature lets you sign in and keep a copy of your data on our servers (via Firebase) so you can restore it on another device. You can also export a local backup file at any time, choosing which profiles it contains, and import it back later; that file stays with you and never passes through us.
Cloud Backup is optional and requires an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your password safe. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us right away.
Everything you create in Vyne, categories, habits, notes, due dates, amounts, belongs to you. We don't read it, sell it, or use it for anything other than storing and returning it to you if you use Cloud Backup. You can delete your account and cloud-stored content at any time from within the App.
Use Vyne for its intended purpose: organizing your own life. Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, or abuse the App or the backup service, and don't use it for anything illegal.
To the extent permitted by law, Vyne's developer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost data.
Vyne may change over time, features can be added, changed, or removed. If these terms change materially, the "last updated" date above will change, and continued use of the App means you accept the revised terms.
You can stop using Vyne at any time by uninstalling it, and delete your cloud account from within the App or by emailing us. We may discontinue the App or the Cloud Backup service with reasonable notice if we ever need to.
